YOUTH WORK AT EMMANUEL
'Our vision is to equip young people in their walk of faith no matter where they are at in their journey. We are focused on creating spaces for young people in school years 7-13; to relax, talk, have fun and learn more about God. Our youth programme offers a variety of support and activities for young people.
Term time only youth sessions:
SYNERGY: Discipleship Group meeting during our Sunday morning services. School years 7-9
THIRST: Discipleship Group meeting on Sunday evening from 7.00-8.30pm. School years 10-13.

COMMUNITY DROP IN: This is an open access group for local young people in school years 4-10 and their families. This group is run in partnership with Wokingham Borough Council. There is space to play games, including football and table tennis, to chill and hang out and to have some support doing any homework. Snacks and drinks are available. Parents and siblings are invited to stay for a drink and chat.

All year round:
MENTORING: Our youth worker Laurie-Ann offers 1-2-1 mentoring sessions for young people aged 11-18. This is a chance for young people to be supported and have someone to talk to. Whilst these sessions can be about anything, Laurie-Ann specialises in supporting young people who have been in mental health crisis.
